The Month in Makes: April

April was a month for slogging. For persevering, and of trying new things. I got my bake on and tried macarons, dabbled with some crochet projects and finally got properly stuck into a knitting project- a cardigan. I also managed a few Easter makes, and have been secretly working on wedding stuff too. I've mainly been documenting my days on Instagram (see button alongside), so you can have sneaky peeks of WIPs and delicious recipes I've tried there. Please do join me- I'm on @katheastoe or search for inverleith if you're an iPhone.

Wanna see April's makes? Ok.

*egg cosies- pattern from Cute & Easy Crochet by Nicky Trench*
 *macaroons- recipe from Tesco magazine*
*repairing an old dress with some help from Betsey*
*spiced butternut squash soup- my own recipe! coming soon...*
*knitting a cardigan from a vintage pattern using some beautiful brown yarn*
*the victoria sponge Jo and I baked at the weekend*
*still working on the starburst flower granny a day project*
*my famous lemon curd for wedding favours*

*trying out the moustache pattern from Easy Makes me Happy*
And what better way to spend a rainy spring day than baking, knitting and crocheting?

XoXo
